The Arrow Leadership Programme is a leadership development programme for men and women currently involved in full-time Christian ministry. The programme runs over two years, and seeks to enable young and emerging leaders to sharpen their skills in leadership and evangelism, as well challenge the integrity of their lives and their walk with Jesus. It is designed so that people can participate in the programme as they continue their normal ministry.
The typical participant in Arrow would be aged between 25 and 40, have already done some ministry training, be currently involved in full time ministry and have demonstrated a passion for evangelism and leadership. Each programme has 24 participants.
Arrow is an All-Ireland organisation, encompassing both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. It draws people from a wide range of denominations and para-church organisations. It is evangelical in belief, based on the Lausanne Covenant.
Each programme runs over a two year period, and consists of four residentials which last for five days each, with small group meetings in between residentials. Participants also work with an individual mentor, whom they meet monthly, and also complete individual reading and assignments.
The Arrow programme seeks to develop participants in three areas- in their Character, Call and Competence. Arrow leaders seek to develop godliness of character, and clarity of God’s call, while developing skills in the areas of leadership and evangelism.
