Candidate Criteria

The Arrow Leadership Program is designed for young leaders serving in local church, denominational or para-church ministry. The focus is primarily on issues related to personal and pastoral leadership with a secondary focus on organizational leadership.

Accordingly, qualified applicants:

  1. Are between 25 and 40 years of age (the upper age limit is flexible)
  2. Are committed to Jesus Christ and demonstrate consistency with the teaching of Scripture
  3. Are proven young leaders in a church or para-church ministry (minimum 1-2 years of experience)
  4. Have significant potential for further leadership growth
  5. Are supported by their supervisor and spouse (if married) to enter into the commitment of the program.
  6. Have some post-secondary education; Arrow leaders usually have an undergraduate degree
  7. Have a desire for mentoring and significant personal assessment
  8. Are committed to the required readings and assignments
